Retrofit Your Home with TruTeam’s Sustainable Cellulose Insulation
Today’s homeowners want only the most environmentally-friendly products to insulate and weatherize their homes. Our professional installers can blow cellulose into oddly-shaped crevices and cavities, improving the efficiency of the home without tearing up drywall, or install the product as batts in exposed wall cavities.
Cellulose is a loose-fill or batt insulation made from plant fibers and recycled newspaper. TruTeam’s cellulose is chemically treated with flame retardant for additional safety. This cutting-edge material also reduces sound transmission throughout your home for extra peace and quiet.
Why Choose Cellulose Insulation?
- Made from recycled materials, generally, 82-85% recycled materials
- Provides superior noise control
- Conforms to fill crevices in your walls and ceilings
- Treated to resist fires and insects
Easy and Non-Invasive Application
TruTeam installs cellulose insulation via three hassle-free methods: damp-sprayed or dry installed either behind netting or as batts. Damp spray is typically ready for wall covering within 24 hours of installation. When installing dry, we either blow cellulose into netting stapled over building cavities or install it in exposed wall cavities as batts.
